Our client, a leading Retail would like to announce the position of Head of Finance Department.

Responsibilities:

• Controls observance of IFRS accounting guidelines and provides all parties involved in accounting/ reporting process with necessary recommendations
• Monitors correctness of General Ledger - Special Ledger accounts mapping, consistency and consolidation of all legal entities reported by Finance
• Coordinates monthly/quarterly/annual closing and corporate reporting in order to assure meeting corporate deadlines and high ranking in the corporate reporting scorecard
• Provides corporate vs. local P&L and BS reconciliation on a quarterly basis
• Calculates deferred taxes in close cooperation with Tax team and aligns it with corporate auditors
• Prepares various ad-hocs/questionnaires/surveys for Executives and Headquarters. Implementation of efficient reporting processes
• Organizes and coordinates a work with the statutory auditors and assures the adequacy and validity of auditors' Highlights Memorandums and Management Letters
• Coordinates intercompany relationship including intercompany agreements preparation, alignment of new intercompany models and procedures
• Coordinates goods suppliers' outstanding debt prevention, optimization and collection in close cooperation with Offer management and Legal department

Requirements:

• University degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics
• 3+ years' relevant work experience, preferable in foreign companies
• Strong analytical, modeling and quantitative skills
• Decision making and problem solving abilities
• Leadership and communication skills, intercultural competence
• Advanced Excel skill is a must, SAP R3 is a big plus
• Good written and fluent spoken English
